(BR 153). Approx. 6°49'S., 47°49'W. Alt. 480 m.
Cerrado among sandstone mesas with rocky and sandy soil.

Tree 5 m. tall x 15 cm. diameter in cerrado near margin
of gallery forest. Fruits green with reddish blush.
N.V. "pimento do macaco" - Ground fruits used as chili
subsitute.
