Guarayos. Grassy areas and savanna, with Curatella
americana, Acrocomia totai.
15°46′04″S, 63°03′53″W. alt. 820 ft.

Small tree 3 m. tall, 8 cm. in diameter. Fruit
green, turning reddish green, opening to show bright
red interior and blue-gray seeds.
