Laguna Pomacochas, leading to Florida (on side road
from Ruta 5N at Pomacochas town, c. 32 km N of
Pedro Ruiz Gallo).
S 05° 50' 03.5"; W ,77° 55’ 25.5"; 2451 m elev.
Moderately branched, terrestrial tree, 1.0 in tall, growing
in remnant patch of forest along roadside. Stems whitish
with brown ïenticels; ligules, petioles, and inflorescence
axes covered with dense whitish indûment (glabrescent on
petioles); leaflets medium green above with sparse,
whitish indûment (glabrescent in older leaves), densely
I white-pubescent below; buds pale purple-red with dense
[indûment; flowers pale green, witlj a-brownish-red region
¡around the disc; fruits turning reddish-purple to darker
