Prefecture; between Xiayingshan village and Xiangzhai on road to
Liantaigou near Huatizi. 31°2rO"N, 102°50'31"E; 2965 m. Mixed
forest of Tsuga, Betula, Acer, Viburnum, Rhododendron on rocky
slopes and along stream in dark, rich, moist soil. Along stream in
rocky soil. Tree ca. 5 m tall; corolla white, lobes pink, purple along
one side at base inside. Hybrid between 43641 and 43643?. Voucher
