Non-flooded, disturbed, secondary vegetation, open sun. Tree in
open sun, 10 m tall. Bark red-brown exfoliating; slash w/
watery-org exudate. Lvs black gland-dotted, aromatic, stipules org.
Corolla and calyx green-glabrous, org gland-dotted, white-cottony
hairs within.
