The New York Botanical Garden Plants of BOLIVIA Clusiaceae Vismia sp. nov. det. M. Nee, 2011 Depto. Santa Cruz, Prov. Sara, 8 km (straight line) W of center of La Belgica, along one of the dirt roads west of La Belgica, 17°33’27”S, 63°18’17”W. alt. 355 m. Wide, shallow valley with sandy soil through grassland and savanna. Near non-flowing stream after rain on Monday, many Cyperaceae, Andropogon. Shrublet 1.2 m. tall. Petals closed (1:15 P.M., mostly sunny), with light yellow-orange spots. Coll.: M. Nee 57320 2 Dec. 2010 04324609
