El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve, Sendero Costa, Pacific slope of the Sierra Madre de Chiapas. 15°38'17"N, 92°48'14"W 2000 m. Montane forest in sandy, rocky soil on steep slopes, dominated by angiosperm trees 15-20 m, Quercus and Lauraceae frequent. Coarse herb or subshrub to 1 m, in exposed soil and in exposed places, corolla white, filaments pink, anthers yellow. Few branches. One population of ca. 10 individuals seen. 4-C)ct-07 D. C. Daly, M.
