5° 31' 29"N, 60° 50' 19" W Elev. 536 m.
Riparian vegetation: Bombacaceae, Macrolobium, Eperua
grandiflora, Clusiaceae. White sand mixed with laterite. Tree
to 2.5m, growing on sand bank. Leaves leathery. White latex
present in all parts. Inflorescence terminal panicle. Flowers
green, immature (petals deep purple?).
