Cultivated herb 80 cm. tall grown from rhizomes of
Plowman & Davis 5054 collected in Peru, Dept. Madre
de Dios, Prov. Manu, south of Shintuya on road to
Salvaci6nr 4 Feb 1975.
Leaves dark green above, dark red-purple beneath.
Calyx light red. Corolla creamy white. Staminode limb
pale yellow streaked with red.
