N.C: Nigua de agua.
Arbusto de 1 a 2 m de altura, flores rosadas, finito morado comestible.
Hojas con abundantes pelos en la parte adaxial de la hoja, las cuales
presenta una especies de agallas donde viven numerosas hormigas
negras, agresivas, y otros insectos; las hojas que not ienen hormiga
presenta abundantes daños por insectos.
VEGETACION: Morichal la especie crece tanto en el cauce
principal del morichal, donde permanece inundado, como debajo del
moriche y en la sabana cercana al morichal.
UBICACION: Morichal San Pedro. Distrito Monagas, Mapire,
Estado Anzoátigui.
