%\ The New York Botanical Garden Moraceae Artocarpus altilis (Parkinson) Fosberg Det. N.C. Zerega, 2000 Federated States of Micronesia: Pohnpei. U Province. Awak village, in northern Pohnpei. In the garden of Mark Kostka. Tree -10-15m. Leaves glabrous with short hairs on veins above and below. Veins lime green above. Fruit very light green with large polygons on surface ~lcm across, lines of polygons are brown. Fruit surface flat but rough to the touch. There is a distinct collar of polygons around the peduncle. Fruit flesh creamy yellow, several tiny aborted seeds. White latex throughout. Local name Mei Uph en Samoa, a smooth variety. N.C. Zerega 177 T.J. Motley & D.R. Zerega 21 Aug 2000 04204225
