ascomata: convex, black, round initially but becoming short lirellate, surrounded
by blackened tissue of parasite and outside of that a broad necrotic zone in
host thallus
exciple: carbonized
hymenium: orangish-brownish, I+b-rK/I+b
paraphyses: ~2 nm, gnarled
asci: opegraphoid?, ~25 * 8 nm
spores: 4? per ascus, hyalin, 3-septate, walls evenly thickened, -15 x 3.5-4 jim
