5° 31’ 29" N x 60° 50' 19" W; Elevation: 536 m.
Riparian vegetation: Bombacaceae, Macrolobium, Eperua
grandiflora, Clusiaceae. White sand mixed with iaterite. Liana,
frequent but usually sterile. Infructescence axillary spike. Fruits
green turning brown with persistent calyx. Sharp apical projection
present on fruit. Bead exploding violently.
