Mixed conifer (Pinus rigida, P. strobus) – hardwood (Quercus prinus dominant, Acer saccharum, Carya, Cornus, Nyssa, Prunus, Q. rubra) forest with Vaccinium understory and sandstone boulders. on Quercus prinus in bark grooves.
