    Pine (Pinus echinata, P. virginiana, P. strobus) dominated mixed conifer (Pinus, Tsuga) – hardwood (Acer, Amelanchier, Liquidambar, Nyssa, Quercus alba, Q. rubra, Q. prinus) forest with Vaccinium understory and many dead/fallen trees. on Quercus prinus in bark grooves.
