Thicket. Disturbed by agriculture and felling.
Nearby the village, dominate by bamboo thicket.
Shrub 1-2 m tall. Flowers pinkish white. Fruit black.
Common.
Growing on the slope along forest edge, partial sun.
In silt or mud on slate.
