Plants of the Gaoligong Shan Region, Yunnan, China Ericaceae Gaultheria Tengchong Xian, Wutai Xiang. Vicinity of Tuting village, on the E side of the Longchuan Jiang, W side of Gaoligong Shan. Elev. 1250 m 24° 53’ 47" N, 98° 40’ 39" E SW facing 10-30° slope. Thicket. Disturbed by agriculture and felling. Nearby the village, dominate by bamboo thicket. Shrub 1-2 m tall. Flowers pinkish white. Fruit black. Common. Growing on the slope along forest edge, partial sun. In silt or mud on slate.
