North side of Belham valley on road to Salem. Roadside
vegetation. Branching tree ca. 10 m. Bark grayish-brown.
Peduncle and calyx yellow-green, the inner portion bright
red; four petals bright orangish-red transitioning to pale
reddish orange with red speckles, the larger petal with the
inner surface pale yellow transitions to creamy white at the
tip, the entire surface speckled red; filafnents bright red
transitioning to pff-white at base & tips; stigma pale
greenish-yellow. Fruit dark brown, appearing black. No
distinct smell. Separate fruit collection.
