base of first of four escarpments.
5° 20' 04"N, 59° 55' 30" W Elev. 712 m.
Dense forest on brown sandy clay and laterite, with
Dicymbe, Pentaclethra, and Micrandra. Tree, 20 m tall;
fruits green, dehiscing to expose red inner surface and
orange sepals.
