Line of mostly native trees and shrubs (Prunus virginiana,
Quercus rubra, Tilia americana, Betula populifolia, Spiraea
alba, Zanthoxylum americanum) along edge of river, and
partly shaded bank of river (Asclepias incarnata, Verbena
'	hastata).
Shrub 2 m. tall. Fruit green, some with slight reddish tinge,
none open on the plant, but opening during drying to reveal
the shiny black seed.
