Common shicuib to 4 m. tall, edge of forest and
lake. The only one with any amount of fruit
was along nature trail along Big Chinquapin
Creek. Woods of Pinus taeda, P. echinata,
Quercus spp. , Carpinus caroliniana, Ostr.ya vir-
giniana, Ilex opaca, Liquidambar stvraciflua,
