Growing in moist to wet sandy organic soil with Alnus serrulata, Chamaecyparis thyoides, Nyssa sylvatica, Phragmites communis, and Pinus rigida. Elevation 5ft or less. Just to the S. of Rt. 347 along a railroad bed, about 0.25mi W. of the intersection with Rt. 47, and around 1.5mi E. of Mauricetown. Cumberland Co. 39°17’20”N, 74°58’25”W. UTM 18 502285E, 4348627N.
