Shrub 7ft tall (until I got a hold of it), common. Growing
in a seasonally wet prairie in sandy-organic soil, with
Aletris lutea, Andropogon sp., Centella asiatica, Chaptalia
tomentosa, Drosera capillar is, Hypericum cistifolium, H.
fasiculatum, H. myrtifolium, H. tetrapetalum, Hypoxis
juncea, Lachnocaulon anceps, Polygala lutea, Quercus
minima, Sarracenia minor, Serenoa repens, Syngonanthus
flavidulus and Viola lanceolata. To the N side of Durden
Rd. and to the western edge of Management Unit 7. Avon
Park Air Force Range, Polk Co. Elev. about 75ft. 27° 38'
45"N, 81° 17' 21 "W. UTM 17 471489E, 3058006N.
