of San Francisco de la Sierra; north side of Sierra Agua Verde;
Canada San Francisco; small canyon with Aralia scopulorum,
Dodonaea viscosa, Nicotiana glauca, Nolina beldingii, Perezia
palmeri, Rhamnus crocea, Rhus integrifolia, and Washingtonia
robusta.
Polypodial shrub from large crown 2m diameter; trunks
to 2dm diameter, bark smooth, red-brown except for gray dead
portions; flowers pendent, white but drying now; sepals stained
purple-red; old fruit dark brown, ca. 1cm diameter, spherical.
