city of Santa Cruz, barrio Urbari. Soil sandy.
17°47’S, 63°12’W. alt. 420 m.
Tree 8 m. tall, 45 cm. in diameter, growing in a
small park; bark smooth until ca. 25 cm. in
diameter, then breaking into plates; sap pale milky;
twigs fairly brittle; wood of twigs yellowish. Fruit
green but mostly covered with light tan lenticels,
only rarely opening yet on the tree.
