Dry phase of SELVA ALTA PERENNIFOLIA in rain shadow
of the Tuxtlas volcanos. Remnant forest and pastures
along stream, rolling topography mostly cleared for
agriculture, with Sterculia apetala, Tabebuia rosea.
"flor de sapo". Said to be useful medicinally for
"verrugas". Flowers bright orange-yellow.
