the coast, 2 km. NE of Tlacotalpan, Mun. Tlacotalpan.

Roadside ditch and pasture adjacent to Rio Papaloapan,
with Salix exigua (!), Daphnopsis americana, Dalbergia
brownei, Pithecellobium lanceolatum, Euphorbia torrida,
Solanum campechiense, S. houstonii.
Flowers odorless, bright red-orange and yellow-orange.
