Tungurahua. Small rest of forest in pasture.

Descr.: On road s id e-bank. Rhizome erect, light yellow in longi-
tudinal section; leaves erect, closely tufted. Petiole
and rachis reddish-brown. Lamina slightly lustrous, ad*
axially dark green, abaxially yellowish-green; texture
firmly herbaceous.
