GUYANA. Kako River, near rapids. 505 m 5°30'2.7"N 60°50'30.3"W.
Gallery forest. Bombacaceae, Leguminosae-Mimosoideae, Myrtaceae
and bromeliads dominant. White sand. Shrub to 2m. Entire plant
covered in light brown trichomes. Infructescence terminal panicle.
Rachis green turning reddish purple. Berry green turning white. Silica
sample.
