Kukuinang, lower S face of mountain 0-3 km along
descent line. 05°03’N, 59°57’W. Elev. 630 to 900 m.
Mixed montane slope forest; elevational gradient to
banks of Yuarka River; sandstone derived soils. Shrub
1.5 m; vestiture light fuchsia; fruit light blue,
globose, with maroon, thick vestitured persistent
calyx, 1 cm dia.
