Habitat
Moist E-facing skopes w. With short fynbos and numerous seepages probably burned over 6 years ago. Restiad cushions and young scattered Leucadendron salicifolium. Very locally frequent.

Description
Smalll, sparse, erect shrublets, to 250 mm. maximum. Flowers very dark red, appearing black from above; not scented. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
