Degraded cerrado vegetation. Inside barbed wire fencing.
Locally common in moist soil.
Wiry suffrutescent herbs to 0.5m tall. Petals orange with yellow
base. Filaments and anthers yellow.
With Annona coriacea, Miconia ferruginata, Miconia albicans.
