Line 12. 3° 21' 08"N, 58° 06' 29" W Elev. 124 m. Spiny palm, Annonaceae, Violaceae, Anacardiaceae (Sorori) dominant. Large trees with lots of lianas (Bignoniaceae, Bauhinia). Epiphyte fairly common along creek, but not fertile. Usually associated with ants in roots. Leaves spine-tipped. Bracts red, sepals green, flowers orange-yellow. 30 September 2008 K. M. Redden, K. J.
