Bark red-bro^. smooth, with slight
fissures. Inner bark red brown. Blaze
dull pink. Wood cream. Exudate
absent. Soap-suds odour. Leaves green
above; dark yellow-green below; second-
ary venation very prominent. Fruit
green, very slightly rugose. Local name
Akop.
