Hab.: Venezuela. Near the border (—Río Grande o Toro) between Estado
Bolívar and Territorio Delta Amacuro (ca. 61° 44’ W., 8o 4’ N.). Low,
primary forest. Fertile soil.Up to ± m# tail. Leaves papery,
dully dark green above, paler beneath.
