valley between the Sungai Wariori and S. Waramoi (Sungai
Mangopi).
Lowland rain forest; climbing on trunk over river in shade.
30 - 50m.
Fern with fronds 80 - 90 cm long, erect from stout dark green,
rooting and climbing rhizome; stipe 15 - 24 cm long, fleshy,
dark green, flushed maroon; stipe and rachis with brown
scales; pinnae 18 plus the terminal one and several smaller
pinnae; all mid - green above and beneath; son coffee - brown.
