Locality: Parque Nacional La Amistad. Cerro Fabrega Coordinates: Q8feGS'967ft S; 82°52'310M W Alt. 3100 m Date: 14 March 2003 Notes: Oak forest on Caribbean slopes of Cerro Fabrega, dominated by ferns, mosses, epiphytes. Herb 70 cm. Stems green on one side, red on the other. Calyx purple. Corolla deep pink, with stiff hairs all over. Stmens and style white. Anthers black. Four- parted fruits B.B. Klitgaard, A.K. Monro & J.
