PLANTS OF NEW GUINEA -y^thea dergrowth of Castanopsis-Nothofagus forest; tree' fern 2 m tall; stem divided near apex; leaves sub-erect, c* 1*2 m long, only a few spore-bear- ing; pinnules with reflexed lobes, shining above; stipes with a pair of reduced pinnae near the base.
