Abundant ora alpine grassland of the Piunde-Aunde
Valley ay about 3h.OO**3^00 in «5 thick stemmed
tree-fern up to c. U m tall; leaves very numerous,
produced from the thick apex (c.20 cm.) of stem
in a mop-like crown, elliptical, c.125 cm long
including stipes of c. 30 cm.5 stipes ± glaucous.
