Abundant on alpine grassland of the Piunde-Aunde
Valley ay about 3U00-3!?00 in.; thick stemmed
tree-fern up to c. h m tall; leaves very numerous,
produced from the thick apex (c#20 cm«) of stem
in a mop-like crown, elliptical, c*125> cm long
including stipes of c. 30 cm.5 stipes ± glaucous.
