Flowers yellowish green with brown or purple stripes. Notwithstanding some differences between my description, to which I adhere, and that of Rchb. and Klotsssch, there can be little doubt that tlieir names are synonymous. Indeed I liave the authority of llchb. for trigonopoda being the same as tripteris; and P. sicaria is marked by llchb. himself in the Hookerian herbarium as possibly his tripteris._ UNIVERSIDAD DE 1 ANTIOQUIA FLORA COLOMBIANA ANTIOQUIA OPTO.
