Large brown scales at base and
between 16-20 cm from base. Not very
spiny, fronds drop off at base without
remains, stipe 36 cm; rachis 1.79 m;
11 pairs of pinnae plus apex; 7th-8th
are longest, 50 cm (g & h); total length
2.15 m.
