Description
spore length: 10 - 11 microns; spore width: 4 - 4.5 microns; spore shape: subfusiform, elliptical to spindle-shaped; spore texture: smooth; spore color: clear; spore print color: olive brown. Close examination by Dr. Methven (see annotation above) combined with the 2015 DNA analysis confirmed that this specimen is Xerocomus illudens.
