Description
spore length: 12 - 13 microns; spore width: 4.5 - 5 microns; spore shape: elliptic to subventricose; spore texture: smooth; spore color: yellowish; spore print color: olive brown. The bright yellow cap is glutinous and glabrous. The stem is also bright yellow. The gluten on the cap stains the fingers yellow. Close examination by Dr. Methven (see annotation above) confirmed that this specimen is Boletus curtisii.
