    Deeply dissected Tertiary sediments, ridgetop and nearby vertical slopes, forest with open canopy and dense understory, many trees with crowns broken by windstorm. Occasional near ridgetop.

    Tree. Tree 18 meters by 20 cm, outer bark pale gray, rough, flaky, relatively thin. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
