Hwy. 157, 5 miles SW of Champaign.
T 18 N; R 8 E; NE*NW* sect. 16.
Alt. 690 ft. Weedy areas of mowed lawn,
edge of small artificial pond and adjacent
soybean (Glycine max) field; very flat area
of rich, black, organic prairie soils, once
much wetter, now with drainage ditches.
