Henk van der Werff (MO), 2002 Sipal Sum ini South Rim Burned Cliff (Tafelberg). South Rim of the Tafelberg in a zone of dry tropical forest created by a 3 km long forest fire 20-^0 m wide running along the edge of the cliff. Very thin soils over sandstone, exposed to extremely drying winds and sunshine along the cliff edges. Secondary tropical forest succession following fires(s) 3-5 years ago. 03°53'05"N 056°10'30"W 800 m errestrial fern among sandstone boulders. Leaves pale green underneath with gray-brown sori.
