PLANTS OF THE GUIANAS Bromeliaceae Tillandsia bulbosa Hook. Det. B.K. Holst, 2008 GUYANA. Island at Amatuk Falls. 41 m 5°18'1.4"N 59°18'47.8"W. Riparian forest with white sand and large boulders. Epiphytic 1-3 m off ground on various trees and shrubs on island. Small colonies of 3-6 rosettes, rosettes bulbous at base, constricted at top with narrow leaf tips. Leaf bases sometimes with small ants. Plant greenish with patches of silvery scales around sheath bases. Inflorescence purple-pink. Fruit green. K. J. Wurdack 4283 7 September 2006 With: C. Perry, E.
