Non-flooded moist forest.
Plant forming a large open funnelform rosette of about 20
leaves. Leaves cinnereous-green, ca. 140 cm long;
sheaths pale brown, the upper inner side puple-red.
Inflorescence terminal, erect, about 1 m high, very dense
at apex. Epiphyte in large trees.
