GARDEN 03851843 3°37'N, 52°12'W ca. 200-300 m Saul and vicinity. Sentier Botanique, 0-700 m from entrance. Non-flooded moist forest. Plant forming a large open funnelform rosette of about 20 leaves. Leaves cinnereous-green, ca. 140 cm long; sheaths pale brown, the upper inner side puple-red. Inflorescence terminal, erect, about 1 m high, very dense at apex. Epiphyte in large trees.
