diam.; petiole sheath soon brown and
dried but apparently persisting; free
part subterete, thicker than broad,
weakly glossy; blades thinly
coriaceous, dark green and matte
above, much paler, grey—green and
matte below; midrib sunken and
slightly paler above, thicker than
broad and paler below; primary lateral
veins narrowly quilted—sunken above,
darker and convex below; minor veins
distinct below; inflorescence held
above leaves; spathe spreading,
yellow-green and matte inside, medium
green and weakly glossy outside;
spadix dark green to purplish; pistils
white, style barely exserted.
